Can you see the Thousand Galaxies? This picture was taken outside the apartment I was used live in, in Hayward. I was experimenting with depth of field shots and this is exactly the effect I was going for. Although I did not think that this particular shot would come out so great. The front of the tree is in focus while the farther you move back the more out of focus it becomes. If this was not a large area shot it would be hard to tell how far apart the leaves actually were and the distances between them would seem vast. Then if you think of each leaf as a galaxy, you would have A Thousand Galaxies.
